First Call
4 Apr
Today, I practiced how to do customer calls with my mother in the car.
Then it was time for me to do my first call. At first I was nervous, but I took a deep breath and did it. It was a lot easier than I thought. She had some really good stuff like brand new tabletop water fountains that she had but she didn’t want. She also had a boogie board, a swimming vest, and a Leapfrog Tag Reader.
I am going with mom to pick up the awesome stuff on Saturday, but first my mom said we need to do some research to see which things I should really take and sell.
I had a really nice call and it seems like she is a really nice lady.
I also called my aunt and I actually will get some stuff for free! We will see what she has that is good to sell and pick it up on Saturday also.
I went on Craigslist to find out if there is any free stuff that people have. There was some really good stuff like a leather chair
and some desks. So I emailed the person, and we were going to pick up tomorrow.
I was really excited, but then she emailed back again and told me that someone is coming right now to pick it up and that if it is still available for tomorrow she will let me know.
I learned that sometimes you have to be fast and quick to get something.
I also learned that your family members can be really kind and you don’t have to pay them sometimes for their stuff. Tomorrow I am going to call more family members.
