Simple But Not Easy

5 Jun

When I first started my business, I wanted to make $1,000 in my first two months.  I feel kinda bad that I didn’t make the $1,000 in two months, but it’s my first try so I won’t be so down about it. I did make $365 and will keep working. I have learned that it is not easy to have a business.  My next two months are going to be much better than my first two months!

School is going to be over in two days and I’m going to make some plans for my business. I told my mom that I wanted to spend 2 hours each day on my business and have fun the rest of the time. During the school year I was only able to do 1 hour and not every day. This summer I want to make enough money to buy 4 tickets to Wet N Wild water park in Orlando so that I can take my family.

I’m going to be calling more people so that I can help them sell more stuff and make more money.

Like I always tell you, I’m really proud of you :-) I’m so happy that you’re understanding at a young age what mommy always tells folks which is that things worth having and doing are often simple but just not easy. I have to remind myself of that sometimes, but it’s absolutely worth it and I’m proud of you for sticking to it. I will look forward to that trip to Wet N Wild before the summer ends. Way to go, baby! See you when I get back home from New York!

Thanks for telling me that some things are simple but not easy. Now I understand what life is about and I am looking forward to Wet N Wild. I love you.

Thanks Anita for reminding us of this simple business concept that is so easy to forget. There is a big difference between simple and easy and many people think it’s the same. If it was easy then every body would be doing it. Kinda like breathing ;-)

You are learning very valuable lessons Anisa at such a young age.

If not already, you will be super thankful for your parents teaching you this stuff one day.

My 12 year old step-son and his best friend are checking out your site. He is telling me they want to sell stuff around here! lol

Ask your mom about franchising your biz out ;-) Congrats Anisa!

I am very thankful for my parents teaching me all this stuff. I hope your 12 year old step son does a good job selling the stuff!

Awesome Anisa! Happy and proud of the direction your business is going. You have two wonderful teachers in your life.

Know that you are teaching us adults a thing or two about running a business. You said one very important thing that many people forget to do when running a business — and that’s to have fun!

Much success in your endeavor as a business owner, and have a very enjoyable Summer! Keep rockin’!:)

    Anisa-

I hope you are very proud of your efforts, as many of us around you are! You have taken more initiative than many adults as you’ve come up with your business idea and are executing it. I love reading all of your lessons learned throughout this process. Again, many adults haven’t learned the things you have! Keep up the great work.

    Kisses,
    Auntie Stacye
